A lifelong musician, Patrick "Justice" Riser began his career as both a hip-hop dancer and a DJ before he’d graduated elementary school. With only belt-driven turntables and a penchant for rap lyrics, he mixed and created music for family and friends as a hobby while simultaneously competing in numerous hip-hop dance competitions. In time, inspired by his mother Delores Sullivan, his father Harry Sherman who is a country western artist, and the tight-knit Southern Baptist community of his youth, he expanded his musical repertoire to include a wide array of genres, from rock to jazz to gospel to funk. With a family tree comprised of more than seventy dedicated ministers, Justice was also drawn to mix and produce soulful music that served not only to entertain, but also to inspire its listeners. With this in mind, he created multiple albums with the goal of healing and soothing souls through varied musical genres. Past albums include “The Offering” and “Freedom, Pain and Love,” and his most recent album, “Rock Steady,” will be released in early 2016. In 2013, he also created RISER 360 Edutainment with the goal of sharing his love of all kinds of music on a broader scale. Standing for Reaching Individuals Spiritually Expands Righteousness, RISER 360 Edutainment seeks to both educate and entertain people from all creeds, races, cultures and backgrounds—thus providing a 360-degree view of the world through music. In addition, his extensive experience and knowledge of various genres has made him a popular DJ at many varied functions. Justice is a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Lodge in Logan, UT, and in his spare time, he enjoys serving others in need, whether that means simply helping out a friend or neighbor or organizing large-scale fundraising events for various charitable organizations.
